20-21.IX.2008: Orlen Rally
|

Concluded last Sunday, Orlen Rally brought the first win to our team of Janek Chmielewski and Ireneusz Pleskot. Our drivers are steadily
advancing toward winning a title to complete the season.

29-30.VIII.2008: XXIII-th Karkonosze Rally
|
|
|
In the VIIth round of the Polish Rally Championship in Jelenia Góra valley, WESEM-NEO Rally Team's Jan Chmielewski and Ireneusz Pleskot
(Citroen C2-R2) won the 3rd place in R2B and A6 classes, maintaining their leadership in C2-R2 Teams' Challenge classification.
With scoring differences between top R2B teams being marginal, an exciting competitive struggle can be expected all the way to
the end of this year's championship. We hope for our team to secure a good position in Warsaw's Orlen Rally (Sept. 20-21).

8-9.VIII.2008: XVII-th Rzeszów Rally
|
|
|
WESEM-NEO Rally Team performance in the XVIIth Rzeszów Rally should be considered a success. Jan Chmielewski and Ireneusz Pleskot (Citroen C2-R2)
came in second-placed in R2B class (it is our sixth podium this season), and third in A6 class, ranking ninth in general classification.
As we congratulate Janek and Irek on their performance so far, we wish them good luck in the coming Karkonosze Rally (Jelenia Góra, Aug. 29-30).

3-5.VII.2008: IV-th Subaru Rally
|
|
|
The Vth round of the Polish Championship Rally run on roads in Kraków area proved especially difficult for participating teams.
The first day was marked by heavy rain and several dangerous accidents. The WESEM-NEO Rally Team, remembering last-year's Subaru Rally accident,
took no chances and won the 3rd place in R2B class. In this class, the remaining portion of the season promises to be exciting as the differences
between the top three teams in general classification are a mere two points (WESEM-NEO Rally Team being second-placed). Regrettably, not all
drivers can consider themselves lucky in the rally. On Saturday's first special section, one car drove off the road, hitting a photographer.
Nor was this the only accident that day. More than ten other cars went off the course. As a result of such mishaps, considering the safety
of drivers and spectators, the police decided to close the rally after the 13th special section. To our team we wish success in the upcoming
17th Rzeszów Rally (Aug. 8-9).

26-29.VI. 2008: Krak 2008 International Historical Vehicle Rally
|
|
|
Completed last Sunday, the VI-th round of the International Historical Vehicle Rally generated much interest right from the start,
and not only among lovers of vintage cars. Sponsored by WESEM, the event gathered drivers from Poland and other European countries.
In the course of the rally, the historical cars filed through Wieliczka, Swoszowice, Skawina, Kalwaria Zebrzydowska, Radziszów, Mogilany,
Targowica, and Kraków. As a high point in the program, last Saturday saw a vintage vehicle parade and exhibit in Kraków's Vistula embankment
(right across the river from Wawel) and Elegance Contest in front of Spiski Palace in the Market Square. The rally concluded with a Commander's
Ball and a Sunday farewell breakfast for competitors.

6-8.VI.2008: 65-th Rally Poland
|
|
|
The WESEM-NEO Rally Team (Jan Chmielewski & Ireneusz Pleskot), despite problems with a flooded computer on the first day, won the third place
in R2B class, a podium place for the fourth time in a row.
Although our team has lost its lead in R2B classification, it is hot on the leader's
heels.
We wish success to Janek and Irek in the upcoming Krakow Subaru Rally (July 3-5, 2008).

9-10.V.2008: 36-th Elmot Rally
|
|
|
Jan Chmielewski and Ireneusz Pleskot (Citroen C2-R2), in the third Polish Championship rally (Swidnica),
won a respectable second place in their R2B class, and a third in A6. In general classification, theirs is the 17th place.
This has been the best performance for the WESEM-NEO Rally Team so far this year.
We wish our team continued success and cannot wait to see them as Number 1 in their class.

10-12.IV.2008: 44-th Krakow Rally
|
|
|
The second round of the Polish Championship Rally (RSMP) held in Krakow area must be counted as successful for the WESEM-NEO Rally Team
with Jan Chmielewski and Ireneusz Pleskot (Citroen C2-R2), who came in in a good third place in R2B class and 21st overall.
We hope that our team's further appearances will be no less satisfying.

24.II.2008: Janusz Kulig and Marian Bublewicz Memorial Rally
|
|
|
The WESEM–NEO Rally Team including as before Jan Chmielewski and Ireneusz Pleskot took part in the Janusz Kulig and Marian Bublewicz Memorial
Rally run on Sunday, Feb. 24, 2008. In was the second time that the best Polish rally drivers met in the streets of Wieliczka to celebrate the
memory of two of their outstanding colleagues.
Driving a Citroen C2-R2, after a special stage (1.75km), our team was 16th overall, finally to come in the 17th place. Remarkably, despite Janek
Chmielewski's indisposition (throat inflammation) the team secured a good 3rd place in its class (1).
The winners overall were Leszek Kuzaj and Tomasz Boryslawski in a Subaru Impreza.
To our boys in a C2 we wish success in the upcoming Krakow Rally
(Apr. 10-12, 2008).

Concluded Sunday, Feb. 17, the Polagra 2008 Fair proved a success for our company. Our stall featured many new products, attracting much interest
from individual visitors and business customers alike.

1-2.II.2008: 4-th Magurski Rally
|
|
|
The fourth edition of Magurski Rally opened the 2008 rally season in Poland.
The finish line was reached by 28 of the original 42 crews.
The demanding terrain of the Low Beskid Mountains compounded by unfavorable weather did not stop our WESEM-NEO
Rally Team with Jan Chmielewski and Ireneusz Pleskot (in a Citroen C2-R2) from opening this year's competitions with
a good 3rd place in the newly created R2 class and 22nd overall.
As we congratulate Janek and Irek on their felicitous beginning,
we wish them more successes in coming events.
